My pedagogical observations process took place at Juan XXIII School. This school is located at JUAN XXIII neighborhood.

REFLECTION

My observation took different stages during the whole process I was observing.
There were different aspects that were taken into consideration, in regard with some items that were observed in order to reflect. A set of diaries were written after each observation.

CLASSROOM ATMOSPHERE

It’s really important and fundamental for teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere. It is important behavior that both students and teacher feel comfortable working on environment free of bad behavior.

In my case when I was observing, I realized that at the very beginning of each class observed, the students were willing to pay attention and be focused on what the teacher explained them. The environment of peace inside the classroom most of time makes students be focused on teacher assessment, because of the teacher knew how to promote the participation in class, never showing anger and also used the best way to communicate with students.

ORGANIZATION

Taking into account what I observed, in this aspect, I point out the teacher organization was really amazing. He measured the time to carries out the different kind of activities he did, moreover the fact that the teacher carried his own material to develop the class was fundamental for the development of classes.
In terms of space, the teacher kept a distance from students although they sat in from of him without respect the lines. The order of the chairs was a mess but it did not mean teacher would not reach the aims.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

As we know the classroom management is the key for a successful development of a class.
I could notice that teacher I observed had a good management of classes.
The fact of being as clear as possible when speaking, eye contact and demonstration instead explanation make students realized that the teacher has control and he is the authority inside the class. Actually, the teacher quickly identified when his methodology did not work and changed his strategies to avoid students misbehaves.

FEEDBACK

Basically, feedback is information about how we are doing in our efforts to reach a goal. I hit a tennis ball with the goal of keeping it in the court, and I see where it lands—in or out.
In terms of application, feedback is reflected on what the teacher tell to students to improve what they have done. Students prefer to receive a well explained feedback instead doing assessments by themselves because they really appreciate and take advantage of what the teacher explain or correct them.

EVALUATION

Some teachers are based on what students know, but they measure students´ knowledge through evaluations in order to grate the performance they have in the length of any activity.
In this sense, is important point out that this mechanism is the same used in the public or private institution to evaluate the students and the courses as such.

Creative paragraphs

Come to a bad end or  devil to pay ?

This is a terrible story that happened in the year 1994. They were 42 students that had studied together throughout the whole high school. Also they were coursing their last year in the school. All of them were very close friends and they were used to make jokes and laugh among themselves. Besides, they used to be rude with the folk and whoever they want.

The first class day the students knew their Spanish teacher and that was the worst experience of the teacher, because she was a shy, skinny and short woman. In addition, she was stammering and it seemed to be very funny for the pupils. Throughout the whole class students were devoted to mock the teacher for her physical appearance features. After finishing the class all of the students were talking about the teacher and thinking about a new joke for her.

The students wanted to make her the best joke and decided to loosen the screws on the ceiling fan to scare the teacher with the sound of the blades. And  it was, when the joke  moment came, the fan not only made the sound to scare the teacher. But also, it fell on top of her, breaking her neck, shaping and splitting her head in two halves splattering all students and the classroom with blood and brains.

While the rest of the blood spilled by the side of the teacher´s desk, the students were stunned and shocked by the alleged joke. After a few seconds, perplexed and frightened by the situation that had just happened, the pupils screamed and cried at the same time as they ran out of the classroom, treading the remains of the teacher´s body.

The scene was terrible, said the policemen while picked up the body. Although all students witnessed what happened, none of them agreed to say anything to the police, for which decided to release them. Even though, none of them forgot what happened with the teacher.

When all of students became professionals, they decided to meet again in the same school and classroom to celebrate their achievements and friendship. Being together, the former students started dancing with happiness, because they were together after so long. But inadvertently, between laughter and jokes the night came. But, there was something wrong, because a sinister, creepy, macabre, disturbing, nightmarish, and baleful spectrum was looking at them with anger and contempt and it was the teacher ghost.

Suddenly, the ghost appeared in front of all the ex-students, they were astonished and tried to escape the room, but the ghost was faster than them and closed the door in one fell swoop. Since that moment, all students acknowledged that none were going out of that room alive. All jokes and laughs ended at that moment, because the blood, brains, and bones began to splash. Terror and fear gripped the room.

Weeks after, the bad smell and the stench of the corpses of the students revealed the site of the massacre, which was the same place in where they used to mock of their teacher. And that was the end for those who in their youth made a joke that cost their own life.

Have beautiful nightmares!!!

Topic sentence paragraphs

  • Time ago, religión and faith were topics very hidebound, if somebody believed something different that what was accepted at that time, he or she could be punished by law. In the primitive society, every act was measured by the religion approach someone had. But now, in the modern society, in our performance as a person never mind what our believes are, but what we have, our belongings. Religion in modern society is more flexible that 200 years ago. Most people is free to believe in what they want.

  • As a result of the huge globalization and development of technology, most children and teenagers spend their time on videogames, social networks, smartphones, etc. And it makes no odds if they are in classes, with the family or even at the church. In fact, it is a trouble that annoys the older generation, because they grew up on a time when handwritten letters meant something and texting was a foreign word. Formely, Children play "la lleva, el escondido, la gallina ciega, etc" but, nowadays the kids play "Call of duty, Angry birds, PES, Mortal Combat X, etc." Noticeably, time has changed, and that is what dissapoint the most the older generation. In brief, problems between generations have increased due to the influence of technology.

TOTTO

The Selfish Dog TOTTO

Once upon a time there was a very selfish and envious dog.
The dog was called Totto. He fought every day against many other dogs of different races and sizes. Totto was very different from the other dogs, because, he always discussed, sometimes argued, and also stole food from other animals.

All dogs were extremely upset with him, and often  they challenged him to fight, but Totto was too strong, fast and bigger, than any other dog had been able to win.
Totto was a very rude dog and did not respect the elderly dogs or ladies dogs. Totto also taunted their victims, insulting them and making them bullying.

Once, Totto had a fleshy bone in the mouth that had stolen minutes before, he was crossing a high bridge and totto suddenly peeked sticking his head out the side of the bridge, and immediately he stared on a bigger dog than him, with a much larger and fleshy  bone than his.
Totto unthinkingly jump down the bridge to fight against that dog to have that glorious bone, not realizing long before, that the other dog was a reflection of himself in the water.
And this is the end of the story, because Totto drowned fighting over a bone filled with envy and egoism.
